Awards Emerging Leader Award.
Jack Daggett became president of Pride Solutions in 2016, assuming command of the plastics manufacturing business his father Tom Daggett started in 2002. As president of Pride Solutions, Jack Daggett oversees the company’s four cooperative divisions: May Wes, C&A Pro, Pride Engineered Plastics and Pride Assembly. Under his leadership, the companies have each seen steady growth in sales and profitability.

Jack grew up in the manufacturing business. From age 13 through his college years he worked in production during the summers for Hutchinson Manufacturing, a company started by his grandparents “Bud” and Doris Daggett in 1953, as well as for Pride Solutions. He held numerous leadership positions for both Hutchinson Manufacturing and Pride Solutions, grooming him for his role as president. These included product manager, operations manager, supply chain engineer, and fabrication manager. He also worked for a time outside of his family’s businesses to gain additional experience.

Jack already has made considerable contributions to Pride Solutions’ continued success. He helped bring about a heightened planning process/material requirements planning, an engineered approach to specifications and purchasing, as well as controlled documentation and higher customer service standards. In 2017, under Jack’s leadership the company adopted the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS) to position itself for continued growth. This new system has enabled Pride Solutions’ executive management team to chart a clear vision for the company, promptly address key issues and achieve quarterly, annual and long-term goals.

Pride Solutions also recently invested in automation with the addition of a CNC turning center fed by a collaborative robot. This new system has greatly expanded Pride Solutions’ manufacturing capabilities, allowing the company to take in additional high-volume contract manufacturing work as well as manufacture some of its metal parts in house.

Jack is a 2012 graduate of St. John’s University. He is married and has two young children. He is actively involved in the Hutchinson community, serving on the city’s Economic Development Authority (EDA).

Founded by the Daggett Companies in 2002, Pride Solutions manufactures a wide range of plastic parts, specializing in Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) material. The company’s four divisions include May Wes, a leading supplier of UHMW poly agricultural components; C&A Pro high performance snowmobile skis; Pride Engineered Plastics, a contract manufacturer offering compression molding, thermoforming, machining and fabricating services; and Pride Assembly, a turnkey supplier of custom electro-mechanical assembly services.

Pride Solutions is also finalist for the Best in Class Small Business award, the company’s C&A Pro and May Wes divisions are finalists for the Best B2C Product Award, and the company’s founder Tom Daggett will be honored with a lifetime achievement award.
